This learning activity will help close these educational gaps:

Need to provide participants with increased knowledge of the science of the human genome and the field of precision medicine, genome testing, understanding of genome test results and practical application of current genome science/medicine to improve patient outcomes.

Need to provide a better understanding of what Age Management Medicine is, and how such aspects as enhanced patient assessment practices and emphasis on nutrition, supplements, hormones, and fitness can offer the aging patient overall better health and prevention, and early detection or mitigation of some of the disorders or aging.

Need to further the participants’ knowledge and provide a comprehensive understanding of the evidence-based science behind the use of hormones, and the clinical protocols for best-practice use of hormone replacement therapy when medically indicated to optimize health and provide superior patient outcomes.

Need to provide clinicians with updates on current treatments and new scientific protocols in many areas of interest to age management practitioners, such as early detection research for cancer, thyroid treatments, neurological disorders and treatment, nutrition, and methods to alter patient behavior In order to maximize treatment outcomes.

The overall purpose of this CME activity is:

Provide physicians and healthcare practitioners with a relaxed, professional environment conducive to the educational process where they will be provided evidence-based education by credentialed experts, most of whom have clinical experience in the area of Age Management Medicine. This educational experience will take the form of didactic lecture, small group workshops, panel discussions and audience interactive question & answer sessions. Attendees will be provided relevant clinically based content on a variety of topics in Age Management Medicine, including precision medicine, introduction to age management medicine, hormones and hormone replacement, preventive medicine, and disorders of aging. When formulating an educational curriculum the AMMG Planning Committee always places emphasis on providing evidence-based content that clinicians can take back to their practice and begin to use immediately following this learning activity.

The educational objectives, based on identified gaps, are:

Describe the role of human genome testing in developing and implementing personalized medical treatment plans.

Identify key aspects of Age Management Medicine and how they may be utilized in detection and mitigation of disorders of aging.

Explain the evidence-based science behind hormone replacement therapy and when it may be medically indicated as a treatment protocol.

Discuss a current treatment or new scientific protocol that applies to your area of interest and how you could implement it to improve patient outcomes.
