Dr. Anna Cabeca is a board certified Gynecologist & Obstetrician with an integrative medicine practice in Georgia. She is an expert in women’s health and specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and natural alternatives, successful menopause, age management medicine, reproductive health and helping patients prepare for pregnancy and combat infertility issues. Her belief is that the advantages of creating health and hormone balance are that we not only improve our own health but also improve the health of our generations to follow. It is her goal and purpose as a physician and educator to improve the quality of life of her patients and all women through incorporating cutting edge gynecologic advances, hormone balance, diet, exercise programs, education, and nutritional detoxification regimens all tailored to the individual. She integrates a Mind-Body-Spirit approach in her medical practice. Dr. Cabeca earned her medical degree from Nova-Southeastern University of the Health Sciences in Florida. She did her residency training at Emory University where she is currently a Clinical Instructor and has been in private practice in Southeast Georgia since 1999. Dr. Cabeca is a mother of four, speaks four languages, and grew up in a multi-lingual and cultural household which nurtured her love for international medicine and travel. She has traveled around the world learning from and experiencing cutting edge centers, and alternative healing modalities. She has given presentations nationally as well as internationally.
Christopher J. Centeno, M.D.

Dr. Centeno is the founder of Regenerative Sciences and an international expert in musculoskeletal, spinal and neurological injury. He has cared for approximately 10,000 patients and has authored over 25 medical publications that are indexed in the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Dr. Centeno published the world’s first clinical case reports on the use of mesenchymal stem cells in orthopedic patients. He continues this research, having delivered more orthopedic stem cell treatments than any other physician worldwide (over 500 orthopedic stem cell treatments). He also oversees the world’s largest database of clinical outcomes/complications tracking for autologous, orthopedic stem cell re-implantations. He is a founding member and medical director of the International Cellular Medicine Society. Through ICMS, Dr. Centeno has also worked with other stem cell experts to produce international guidelines for stem cell use as well as an International Re-implantation Registry. The author of many patent applications in the field of regenerative medicine as well as devices to allow stem cells to be delivered via a needle rather than surgically, he is also currently Medical Director of the Centeno-Schultz Clinic. Dr. Centeno earned his M.D. from the University of South Florida and completed his residency at the Institute for Rehabilitation Research, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine. He is double-board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. He has also been associated with two prior successful start-up ventures. CustomMed Solutions, Inc. was sold to PhyCor in the late 1990’s. Dr. Centeno also engineered the successful sale of his pain practice to PainCare in 2005 for $15 million.

Florence Comite, M.D. has been a leader in the evolution of wellness-based health care and preventive medicine. Dr. Comite’s unique approach to healthcare allows for customized health strategies. She primarily directs her practice to Age Management Medicine, including bioidentical hormonal therapy, growth hormone, men’s and women’s health, andropause and menopause, sexual function and life-style issues. Dr. Comite has been a leader in Women’s Health for over 12 years. She defined new approaches to optimize health for women at mid-life and beyond. Dr. Comite directs her clinical practice to the prevention of disorders related to aging such as osteoporosis, heart disease and cancer. Dr. Comite has pioneered an integrated approach to healthcare delivery with an emphasis on customized health strategies for women and men. Her clinical program is based upon an individualized, in-depth assessment and risk-benefit analysis that catalyzes conventional, complementary, and life-style choices to attain, sustain and maintain well-being. She incorporates a multidisciplinary team, trained to approach the clinician-patient relationship as a partnership. In 1976, Dr. Comite graduated from Yale University School of Medicine with awards for original research, and continued at Yale with a residency in Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology (Medicine, Gynecology and Pediatrics) at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). She remained at NIH as a Senior Clinical Associate until 1984 and joined the Yale faculty in 1985. In 1988, Dr. Comite founded and directed, until 1998, Women’s Health at Yale as an Associate Professor in Endocrinology, Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and in Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. From 1994 to 1995, Dr. Comite was a Senior Clinical and Research Advisor to the NIH Offices of Alternative Medicine (OAM) and Research in Women’s Health (ORWH).

Dr. DeSilva is a practicing Internist at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ. As an adjunct professor at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ, he has lectured on various topics in medicine, nationally and internationally, and is an avid member of The American Medical Association, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, and Society of Internal Medicine, as well as president of the American Nutraceutical Association and vice president of Medical Spa Professional Alliance. Dr. DeSilva has authored and published Coping with Lyme Disease and Ask the Doctor. He has his own radio talk show, "Ask the Doctor" which airs on WCTC Radio in New Jersey (1450 AM), as well as his own television show, "Your Natural Health” on News 12 New Jersey. In addition to local broadcasting, he has attained national television exposure by hosting medical segments on CNN and appearing as a guest on numerous programs, including ABC Night Line. Dr. DeSilva has been instrumental in the formulation of over 100 different natural products.

Jeffry S. Life, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Life is a course co-director and faculty member for Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF). He also is a senior institute physician at the Cenegenics Medical Institute. Dr. Life has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by CERF and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM). Dr. Life is board-certified in family medicine. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Iowa, Dr. Life completed his residency in family medicine and internal medicine at West Virginia University. He also attained a Ph.D. in environmental sciences and health. Throughout his career, Dr. Life was a full-time family physician and a part-time assistant professor at Marywood University in Pennsylvania, teaching graduate courses in nutritional science and exercise physiology. In 1998, after reaching a lifetime high in body weight, percentage of body fat and level of deconditioning, Dr. Life entered EAS National Body-for-LIFE Challenge, at age 60. He won the contest and became a Grand Champion. Dr. Life continues to live a lifestyle promoting health and fitness. He wrote a chapter on “Exercise, Fitness and Lifestyle” for a popular medical textbook, published 2002. Currently, he is completing a Masters of Science program in sports nutrition and exercise science, while working on an upcoming book.

Dr. George C. Shapiro has over 22 years experience in the medical field and is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the state of New York. He is Board Certified in multiple specialties including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Age Management Medicine. Dr. Shapiro is currently Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College, and was Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. He was Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he was a member of the medical staff from 1991-2006, and has been active in teaching and research. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY in 1988. He performed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY and completed his Post Graduate training in Cardiovascular Disease at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. He has been the Medical Director of the Associates of Columbia Presbyterian Heart Institute in Scarsdale, NY, for the past 15 years. His main focus has been on Preventative and Age Management Medicine. In addition, he was the Medical Director of Pulse Medical Imaging located in White Plains, NY, where state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and screening took place, featuring the Toshiba 64 slice CTA scan—a technological innovation so powerful, that along with genomic medicine it has positioned us within a few years of completely wiping out the number-one-killer in the western world. Dr. Shapiro is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and has completed training at Cenegenics Medical Institute in Las Vegas. He currently is the Institute Physician for Cenegenics-NYC (and will be appointed CEO or CMO of that center in November 2011). Dr. Shapiro is a speaker and on the clinical faculty for Nutrametrix Educational Institute, and has been a speaker for numerous pharmaceutical companies. In addition he was a clinical expert for various radio stations, and has been a medical consultant for the Nancy Grace show. He performs an extensive amount of community service and is currently working with the AFYA foundation in setting up an Adult and Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Heart Center in Haiti.

Dr. Robert D. Willix, Jr., is a board certified cardiac surgeon, who pioneered the first open heart surgery program in South Dakota. He has been a practicing physician since 1969 and also serves as Associate Professor of Surgery at South Dakota Medical School. As CEO/CMO of Cenegenics Medical Institute, Boca Raton, Dr. Willix specializes in Age Management and Preventive Medicine. After graduating from Boston College, Dr. Willix engaged in medical research at Seton Hall University. He did his M.D./Ph.D. program in Columbia, MO at the University of Missouri Medical School and earned his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri Medical School. Dr. Willix completed his Surgery Internship, General Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery study at the University of Michigan Medical School. In 1975 he became Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. Dr. Willix served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of South Dakota Medical School and was recruited to serve as director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Human Performance program in Florida for the North Broward Hospital District. He was Founder and Director of the Willix Health Institute, dedicated to preventive and sports medicine. He is a former team leader for the U.S. Olympic Committee and is one of 300 physicians in the U.S. who is trained in Pulse Diagnosis and Ayurvedic Medicine. While in private practice Dr. Willix was awarded the Kaul Foundation Award for Excellence for his international newsletter Health and Longevity as well outstanding achievement as a medical doctor in the field of Preventive Medicine. He is a member of the Board of the Age Management Medicine Group, and member of TEC-Chief Executives Working Together. Dr. Willix is dedicated to changing the paradigm of medicine from a disease-oriented to health-oriented system. He became certified in Age Management Medicine, AMA/PRA Level 4 Classification, Parts 1 & 2, and became a Cenegenics affiliate in 1997; he opened the Boca Raton Center in 2007. Dr. Willix has completed 14 marathons, over 100 triathlons and the 1984 Ironman in Kona, Hawaii. An accomplished author of five books and hundreds of articles, Dr. Willix has traveled around the country as a sought-after speaker and is a leader in the field of nutrition, sports and preventive medicine. In his current role as CMO of Cenegenics Medical Institute, he has worked in conjunction with several other Cenegenics physicians to develop and organize the program for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention, the use of stem cells and the treatment of cardiovascular disease, and the measurement of aging markers such as telomeres.
