Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this conference, the participant should be able to:
Describe the scientific basis, importance of, and appropriate use of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, bioflavinoids, thyroid, DHEA, and nutraceuticals in Age Management Medicine.

Identify different techniques that were used for wound care, including advanced adjuvant therapies like PRP in comparison to other treatments.
Describe, identify and compare the use of different typical anesthetics for use in stem cell therapies and the time curve for the use of Filgrastim with the harvest of stem cells.
Compare the outcome and complications of knee replacement with the same parameters for a stem cell injection when used to treat knee arthritis
Apply the technique of platelet rich plasma injection in the therapy of genital and condylomas and describe the basis of its success
Critically evaluate different technologies for measuring telomeres and describe, compare and contrast the terms telomeres and telomerase and how they relate to human aging and cancer
Discuss the relationship between the Cellular aging Process and Cancer at the Cellular and Genetic levels and modalities, products and medications that can enhance the efficiency of the cellular aging process and reduce cancer incidence.
Apply techniques to minimize Cardiovascular Risk in your patient population and teach patients to make lifesyle changes and develop a positive outlook.
Identify causes of female sexual dysfunction and apply medical and non-medical treatments for women with decreased libido.
Through case discussion and audience interaction describe how genetic testing is used in an Age Managment Medicine clinical setting and how to incorporate genetic testing with individualized patient treatment plans
Describe new rheumatic biomarkers, the MULTIBIOMARKER DISEASE ACTIVITY ASSAYS (MBDA) that will be helpful in predictive course for future therapies in RA patients including adhesion molecules (VCAM-1, MMP-1, MMP-3), growth factors
Describe the difference between Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Can a physician make a definitive diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease before autopsy?
